Customer Service News to Know:

Customer Satisfaction Survey

The results for waves 1 and 2 and the telephone survey for 2008 are being gathered for reporting to individual business lines at DTCC. We again want to thank those of you who were selected to participate in the survey and provided us with very valuable feedback and insight as to how we can best service our customers. The initial results show an increase in customer satisfaction for Insurance & Retirement Services over the last year. In 2007, overall satisfaction was at 78% and for 2008 we appear to be at 84%. Once the final results are in, we will update you on specific areas we have been asked to address by you, our customers.

IP Address Change Notification

For those participants who use web services, we would like to remind you that DTCC needs to be kept informed of IP address changes. In the unlikely event that we are not aware of an IP address that a participant is contacting us from, there is a chance you will not obtain the needed information.

Holiday Processing Changes

We have begun sending out (POV) Positions files on holidays. POV holiday processing will consist of the six regular cycles processed on normal business days. Sending POV files out on holidays will eliminate the need to process two days worth of data on the next business day after a holiday. The high volume of data on these “double days” has increased the risk of sending out late files. Processing output on holidays will mitigate this risk. The IPS Advisory Group endorsed this change in processing procedure.
